Lucky Me

I just returned from my trip to Connecticut not too long ago (Saturday to be exact) and, of course, I must go to my mom's house on Sunday. My parent's went for a divorce when I was in fifth grade and they worked out this whole system of we spend a week at one of their houses, go to the opposite parent's house on wednesday, spend the rest of the week at the first paretn's house and they switch to the second parent's house on Sunday. I know it sounds confusing but I've been doing it for five years now and it makes perfect sense to me.

Anyways, my youngest brother needed new soccer cleats because both of my brothers joined a soccer league called FCCA and his were getting too small. So, my mom decided to stop by Sport's Authority on our way back home. But, little did she know, I had a plan to get what I wanted. You see, Sport's Authority is near one mall that EVERYONE knows in our area. After we were done in te sport's store I told my mom I wanted to spend my cash on two CDs I've been meaning to get. She said if she could find a close parking spot we would go in to get them. We drove around two different lanes. My mom was going to give up but she said she'd give it a third and final try. We drove to the next lane of parking and, what do you know, a car close to the mall was pulling out and my mom took it.

I bought the two CDs I've been wanting but that was only part one to my plan. The second part was to walk down to Books a Million and pick up the new Prince of Tennis manga (I've already read it on onemanga but I wanted it for my manga collection). My mom didn't want to walk all the way down to the store so I convinced her to let me walk down by myself and get it. She reluctantly agreed and I was able to get it. Prince of Tennis Volume 26 with Sanada-kun on the cover!

So, the point to all this is that, for some reason, I seem to have incredable luck XD Who knew?
